Rates

I am temporarily offering reduced rates during the launch of my photography business. These rates may increase without notice, but will be honored for all clients that book prior to the rate increase.

In general, for every 30 minutes I take photos, I will spend 1-2 hours processing those photos. I adjust lighting and color balance, spot treat blemishes, adjust the crop and composure of photos, apply stylistic presets to give the entire album a cohesive look, export the images, and compose photo galleries. Extensive image retouching is not a service I offer, and I do not heavily edit images to make the subjects appear significantly different than as captured by the camera.

Rates for Mini Portrait Sessions, Standard Portrait Sessions, Extended Portrait Sessions, and my Day Rate can be found below:

Mini Portrait Session – 15 to 30 Minutes
$80 $40 within Utah County, plus cost of fuel outside of Utah County
An excellent option if you need under 20 edited photos for a Christmas card, a dating profile, a baby announcement, professional portraits, senior photos, etc. Ideal for 1 subject.
Standard industry rates can range from $100-150.

Standard Portrait Session – 1 Hour
$150 $75 within Utah County, plus cost of fuel outside of Utah County
Choose this option if you’re looking for 20-30 edited photos for a gallery wall, a photo book, an engagement session, families with 2-5 people, and other group photos.
Standard industry rates can range from $200-400

Extended Portrait Session – 1.5 Hours
$200 $100 within Utah County, plus cost of fuel outside of Utah County
Choose this option if you’re looking for 30-40 edited photos for a gallery wall, a photo book, an engagement session, families up to 6-10 people, extended families needing multiple groups of portraits taken, photos including travel outside of Utah County, and other group photos.
Standard industry rates can range from $400-500

Day Rate: 4+ Hours
$1000 $500 within Utah County, plus cost of meals, travel, and lodging
Choose this option for wedding/handfasting/elopement ceremonies, concerts, out-of-state events, and corporate events. You will be the only subject I book for the day, to prevent scheduling conflicts. These shoots are significantly more challenging physically and mentally, and the cost reflects this.

I have spent most of these past 10 years losing myself in motherhood, and rediscovering myself through my countless hobbies: reading, writing, drawing, painting, crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, plant collecting, travel, vinyl collecting, 3D printing, miniature painting, Dungeons & Dragons, dice hoarding, yarn dyeing, hair and makeup artistry, and MUCH more. My hair will likely be a different color every time you see me. I’m sure I’ll continue to collect hobbies through the rest of my life, and I enjoy discussing them with everyone I meet!




Photography has been an interest of mine since childhood – being a National Geographic wildlife/nature photographer, traveling the world to capture this marvelous pale blue dot through the lens, is my DREAM JOB! In the unlikely event that the stars align for me someday and any photo of mine ever graces the printed pages of Nat Geo Magazine, I’ll need to put a lot of work into honing my photography skills and investing in expanding my photography gear. I often commandeered my mother’s point-and-shoot cameras through childhood on our road trips, camping trips, and day hikes.


My first ever “big” purchase for myself with my first “real job” was a Nikon DSLR. I parted ways with it in the midst of severe postpartum depression that made me lose interest in all of my hobbies, deleted nearly all evidence that I ever aspired to pursue photography professionally, settled for point-and-shoot cameras and my iPhones for a few years, and never dreamed of someday being able to afford a nice mirrorless camera. We made the investment a couple of years ago. I began doing a bit of casual nature photography, and shortly after, got back into doing client portraits. It’s been a joy to get behind the lens again!
